cv_demigods_and_magiciansI was surprised at how much I enjoyed this collection of short stories by Rick Riordan, though I didn’t enjoy them as much as my younger sister! Rick Riordan transports us once again into the world of Percy Jackson and the Greek Gods, full of mythical creatures and fearful enemies.

Demigods And Magicians is a collection of three short stories merging the Percy Jackson books and the Kane Chronicles together; with stories titled The Son of Sobek, The Staff of Serapis and The Crown of Ptolemy. The three stories are linked as you move through their adventures.

The main characters Percy, Annabeth, Sadie and Carter have joined forces to try and defeat a god who has come back from the dead and is now using Egyptian and Greek magic to try and make himself immortal. Will they stop him in time, for the moment the question goes unanswered…

I really enjoyed the combat and friendship that grew between the friends over the course of the book, and recommend it for any Percy Jackson fans out there.
